Real Estate Loan Fraud Activities Addressed

In a coalition of real estate industry associations, the Minnesota REALTORS® have drafted an article that is being distributed to all members of the Association, as well as members of the mortgage, banking, credit union and title associations.

Fraudulent loan activities - especially those with funding that is not disclosed to the secondary mortgage market - are raising concerns in light of an FBI and Minnesota Department of Commerce investigation. The transactions frequently include a substantial "kick-back" from the seller to the buyer after closing. Minnesota CRS 13th Annual Holiday Breakfast & Charity Auction
