Brokers say it is one of the most valuable services
of the State Association

How do you measure member services? Conduct a survey and ask the people you serve what they think. Recently the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® conducted a survey of brokers using the Legal Hotline service. The finding demonstrated just how important this service is to Minnesota real estate brokers and their agents.

Linda Modlinski, Senior Vice President with MNAR, put together the survey and randomly selected brokers from throughout the state to answer a series of questions related to the service.

Asking the Legislature to Live within their Means

The Minnesota Legislature is in full swing and many tax and spend proposals have already been introduced. Your Minnesota REALTORS® lobbyists will continue to urge legislators to, "live within their means" and keep the aggregate state budget within the limits of the aggregate state revenues currently generated by Minnesota's economy.

  • Minnesota will spend approximately twelve percent (12%) more in the current biennium than we spent in the 2004-05 biennium.
  • Minnesota REALTORS® are very concerned that the current downturn in the housing market will have an adverse impact on the economy as a whole.
