REALTORS® Advertising Campaign generates over 1,100 reorders

Firstmnhome.com and the Minnesota REALTORS® sponsored advertising campaign is off and running with over 1,100 Homebuyer Guidebook reorders being processed. The ads, which you can see or hear in numerous first time homebuyer targeted publications, transit locations, skywalks, or on the radio, are generating significant activity. Over 125,000 Minnesota Homebuyer Guidebooks were distributed to members of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® (MNAR) for distribution to home buyers seeking the guidebooks. As of Friday, March 23rd the printers are processing over 1,100 guidebook reorders.

The Minnesota Association of REALTORS® Foundation will be granting ten $1,000 scholarships to High School Seniors planning to attend a college, university, technical or community college.

The Minnesota Association of REALTORS® Foundation believes this program will help REALTOR® families in that critical first year of advance schooling. Minnesota Housing Report Looks at Housing Trends

Strong economic conditions, historically low interest rates and affordable prices help keep housing values strong in Minnesota.

Through collaboration between the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® and the Shenehon Center for Real Estate Education at the University of St. Thomas, the Minnesota housing Report is produced quarterly to give Minnesota REALTORS® and citizens an overview of the real estate marketplace. The report uses information from a variety of sources including the Minnesota State Demographic Center, The U.S. Census Bureau, The Federal Reserve Board of Governors, The National Association of REALTORS® and the NorthStar MLS system as provided by the Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota, Inc.

National REALTORS® Research Looks at Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington Housing Market

With home prices rising strongly in most parts of the country, there has been widespread media coverage on the possibility of a housing market bust. A thorough analysis of the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington metro market, as detailed in this report, reveals that there is very little danger of this. In fact, the local housing market is in excellent shape with a potential for significant equity gains, particularly for homebuyers who plan to remain in their house for the long run.
